TOPIC: YOUR LEVEL OF UNDERSTANDING ABOUT GOD

TEXT: Luke 5:1-11

Luke 5:8-11. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

Information brings transformation. When you are not informed you will be deformed. The amount of information you are exposed to or the level of information you have access to determines the level of knowledge and understanding acquired which in turn determines how well you will enjoy God. 

Your level of understanding about God determines how well you will relate with God. Your present level of relationship with God is as a result of your understanding about God. 

Peter was having an ordinary or casual relationship with Jesus Christ before until Jesus demonstrated Himself to him, but immediately He  showed Himself to him through the Supernatural Provision of fishes that broke the net, Peter began to give honour to Him. 

Your limitation about understanding of the personality of God is limiting God to do beyond what He is doing for you presently. If you want God to do more miracles for you, you need to increase the level of your understanding about God. 

Whatever you believe that God can do in your life will be done to you but whatever you don't believe that God can do in your life will not be done except on a few occasions that God wants to prove His Supremacy.

You can have more understanding about God through the Word of God. You must give yourself to the reading, hearing, studying and meditation on the Word always. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God.

You can also devote yourself more to Prayer. There is nothing God cannot do through Prayers except the one God is not ready to do. The more time you spend in Prayers, the more God will reveal Himself to you thus, having more understanding of God.

Praise can also give you more understanding about God. Paul and Silas were in the prison but were prasing God and praying and suddenly the doors of the prison opened on their own accord. When you know how to praise God very well, He will manifest Himself to you more thereby increasing the level of your understanding about God.

Through your giving to God. When you give to God, He can demonstrate His Supernatural Power to you in a miraculous way thus demonstrating Himself as OMNIPOTENT God or as ALL POWERFUL God. 

 Peter gave his boat to Jesus Christ to preach the gospel, after He had finished preaching, Jesus Christ demonstrated the Supernatural Power of Provision to Peter. 

When Solomon offered one thousand burnt Offerings to God, God Supernaturally gave him what he could never achieve ordinarily in his lifetime in a very cheap manner. May God demonstrate His Supremacy over your case this month in Jesus Name.

 I pray that you will know God more and God will reveal Himself to you more this month in Jesus Mighty Name.

TOPIC: THE KING COULD NOT SLEEP

TEXT: Esther 6:1-11; Isaiah 49:15.

Esther 6:1-3. On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king.

And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's Chamberlains, the keepers of the door; who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.

And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king's servants that ministered unto unto him, There is nothing done for him.

Isaiah 49:14-15. But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

There are certain times in ones life that seems that one has been forgotten, abandoned, deserted, neglected, ignored or sidelined by God, loved ones or someone you have helped before. 

It is a time of dryness when things seems not working as expected. This period might be the time of hardship. It might be like a time when it seems that prayers are no longer being answered or answers to prayers are being delayed. 

It might be representing the time that all hope is gone or the time that all hope is lost.

 I want to assure you that when this happens to you, it means your long awaited miracle is very close to you then, don't give up.

From the story we read today in our text about Mordecai, he had once helped king Ahasuerus one time by saving his life from his enemies that wanted to kill him.

 After Mordecai had done this good deed, he was forgotten but one day God of heaven and the earth remembered him and took sleep away from the king so that Mordecai could be honored for what he had done for the king. 

On that night the king could not sleep and ordered that the book of chronicles should be brought to him and there it was discovered that Mordecai had saved the life of the king from being terminated prematurely before. He ordered that Mordecai should be honoured. 

Hear this, you have helped many people to succeed in one way or the other but it seems they have forgotten you, today they will remember you for good in Jesus Mighty Name.

Obed-Edom seems to be forgotten at a certain time in his life but a day came he was remembered by God what killed someone became the source of blessings to him, within three months he became blessed to the point of envy. God will remember you today for the best in Jesus Mighty Name.

God promised that even if people forget you, He said He would not forget you. Friends, shift your focus from the problems you are facing now to God that will provide solutions to all your problems. 

Your encounter with this message will mark a turning point in your life in Jesus Mighty Name.

TOPIC: MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS

TEXT: Matthew 7:1-5; Numbers 12:1-9.

Matthew 7:1-5. Judge not, that ye be not judged, 

For with what judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest  not the beam that is in thine eye?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shall thou see clearly to cast out of thy brother's eye.

Christian race or journey is individualistic in nature. It is an individual race but not a joint venture. Although, we may run together but you must know the fact that we don't start the christian race or journey together or at the same time and we will not finish the race at the same time. 

The day one person became saved or became born again is different from one another and the day of getting to the finishing line is quite different from one another. This race is not a combined or joint race but it is an individual race. Every individual child of God deals with God personally. There is nothing like combined or joint salvation. It is an individual thing. 

In today's Christianity, many people are focusing on the christian life style of others to the neglect of their own salvation and souls. They are busy up and down to judge others, see others faults, inadequacy, incompetency, ineffectiveness and failure without minding their own lives. 

Salvation is an individual subject matter. Father must be saved personally, mother must be saved, each child in a family must be saved individually but not collectively. 

Your walk or relationship with God is personal. Death is a personal matter. To be Rapturable is personal. If you are not qualified for the rapture, you cannot go. The issue of judgement before God is personal but not a collective matter. You will be judged individually on what you did. Reward from God is also an individual matter. God will reward individually on what you have done but not collectively.

 Therefore, mind your own business. This message is not against being our brothers keepers. Also, it is not against helping one another in christian race in doing the right thing but it is standing against judging others, pointing accusing fingers to others while you are yet to correct your own wrong doings before God. 

Aaron and Miriam did not mind their own businesses and God was angry with them. Anger of God came on Miriam and she became a leper for seven days.

In this Christian race, correct yourself before you correct others. Don't be condemning others or judging others when you have not judged yourself.

May God help us to make  it to the end and finish well in Jesus Mighty Name.

TOPIC: DO IT AS HE HAS COMMANDED

TEXT: Luke 5:1-7; John 11:38-44; 2 Kings 5:10; 2 Kings 4:3-4

Luke 5:4. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

John 11:39. Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, said unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.

2 Kings 5:10. And Elisha sent a messenger  unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.

2 Kings 4:3-4. Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.

And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.

God is the easiest and toughest personality to deal with. He is the easiest and simplest personality to deal with if and only if you do as you are commanded by God.

 God operates on the principle of obeying or following His instructions. God takes delight in you if you  obey Him. If He ask you to do something and you do it, He will be happy with you and He will bless you. 

As our Father and the Creator of heaven and the earth, He wants us to be obeying His instructions so that He can prosper us. 

God is very tough when you don't keep His commandments or follow His instructions. Whenever God gives you instructions to follow, if you refuse to follow it He will not be happy with you. 

God's blessings are attached to obeying His instructions. Whatever He asks you to do, do it accordingly and it shall be well with you. Jesus told Peter to put his net into the deep, he followed the instructions and blessings followed.

 When Lazarus died, after four days Jesus got there and commanded them to take away the stone from the mouth of the grave for a miracle. They rolled away the stone and Lazarus was brought back to life.

Friends, if you want God's blessings and miracles, be ready to do as He as commanded you. Remain blessed in Jesus Mighty Name.

TOPIC: GOD HAS POWER TO AVERT EVIL FOR YOU

TEXT: Genesis 50:19-20; Esther 7:9-10; Psalm 91:10.

Genesis 50:19-20. And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?

But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God mean it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Esther 7:9-10. And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.

So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified.

Psalm 91:10. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Glory, honour and adoration be unto our God. Almighty God, the Living God. This God is very protective. He ensures good protection over His Own children. He does not allow evil to befall His people. He has the power, authority, right or ability to avert evil purported against your life from the pit of hell.

He had done it before, He is still doing it now and He will continue to do it forever.

 I decree and declare to you as an Apostle and a Prophet sent by God that every evil agenda by Satan, agents of darkness or by the enemies against you and your family today is aborted and averted now in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. 

There is no evil that shall befall you and your family. There is no weapon that is formed against you that shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against you today in Judgement, I condemn it in Jesus Mighty Name.

The brethren of Joseph planned evil against Joseph, initially, they wanted to kill him but God averted it. They sold him into slavery and all evils meant for him along the line were averted and turned to good for him. God will do the same for you. 

Joseph did not leave God despite all odds he went through, and God was with him.

 If you want God to avert evil against your life, no matter what you are going through, you must not leave God.

Haman also purported evil against Mordecai. He wanted to destroy him. He prepared galore to hang him but God averted it. 

It was Haman that God made to die instead of Mordecai.

Whatever evil meant for you and your family it shall back fire today in Jesus Mighty Name.

Remain blessed in Jesus Mighty Name.

TOPIC: THE DANGERS OF EVIL CONSPIRACY

TEXT: Psalm 105:13-15; Mark 14:43-46; Numbers 12:1-2; Numbers 16:1-3.

Psalm 105:13-15. When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;

Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Mark 14:45-46. As soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, Master; and kissed him.

And they laid their hands on him, and took him.

Numbers 12:1-2. And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.

And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.

Numbers 16:3. And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

Evil consiperacy is coming together of a set of people against another  in a negative manner. Often times, it occurs as a result of the spirit of jealousy, envious spirit, due to rivalry, and at times, due to competitive spirit. This is the reason why jealousy, envy, rivalry and evil or negative competition is not allowed among the children of God because it will always result to evil things. 

Evil consiperacy is a terrible thing that is not supposed to be mentioned among the children of God but alas, it is very common in Christendom. A lot of dangers are associated with it and that is why this message is coming out for prevention of such dangers.

 Evil consiperacy is very palatable, suitable and enjoyable to those involve in it at the beginning but may I tell you that the end of it is very suicidal, dangerous and destructive. There is no person that is involved in an evil consiperacy that will go unpunished.

 If you have involved yourself in such an act before, kindly desist from it immediately before the judgement comes unannounced, but if you have not indulged yourself in such, do not engage in it. 

From the scriptures quoted above, those that involved themselves in such an evil act paid heavily for it. Miriam and  Aaron conspired against Moses and God judged them. Miriam became a leper and she was thrown out of the camp for good seven days. 

Judas Iscariot did it and lost his place in the kingdom and committed suicide. He killed himself with his own hand. You will never experience such in Jesus Mighty Name. 

Korah, Dathan and Abiram engaged in it and they lost their lives, families and properties in the process. The dangers attached to the act of evil consiperacy is very enormous to bear therefore, run away from it.
